Caller rang and left a voicemail then called again. I couldn't answer as I was driving. On listening to voicemail, it was difficult to understand other than to hear they were calling from Engie, who I had just signed up with. In hindsight, I was dumb in returning the call from the this number. It was a number for Engie but the woman I spoke to said their were no call logs for my account and said the number wasn't associated with Engie, even though I was talking to her from that number. Concerned I had just been scammed, I rang Engie from their advertised number and it was comfirmed I had been previously been speaking to a legitimate employee and the details of that call were now logged on my account. Engie are now further investigating.

Call center. Lots of background noise. A male with Indian accent said "hello ". I said "hi" he said "yes hello" I said "... Hi?" Again with the ".. yes hello". Seemed as though he wanted me to say more (maybe waiting for my name??). Felt very fake so hung up assuming scam. Super bizarre.

Constantly calling, twice a day for the past 8 months. I have it blocked but I still receive the blocked call notification. Drives me mental.

This Engie energy provider is the most rotten company there is! Please never use their service. It is a scam. They keep making nuisance calls and sms until I blocked their nunber. Please complain to the authorities if they contact you with their scam!

I rang about my gas bill. During, I said their readers were too lazy to knock on the door so I can open the gate & they havent even left that green card that selects i have a dog.
People do your frigging JOB. Read the meter & get over it.

Missed a call from this number. A recorded message was left on message bank which said it was Engie previously Simply Energy with important information regarding account. Said to call back on 1800 094 100 call could not be connected. Suss.

I received several calls from this number over a few days and didn’t answer coz I thought it was a scam. Checked this site and then thought it might be genuine so rang them. Person I spoke with said there is no record of anyone ringing me. Who knows what it all means? If they want to contact me they can write

I was expecting a call from my Energy Provider Engie (Formerly Simply Energy) around 1pm but later noticed it went straight to Voicemail. I thought I had bad phone reception and it went straight to voicemail but upon checking missed called it was automatically blocked as Spam. Upon calling this number back it appears the same as their 138808 number which is a local call from anywhere in Australia.

If you were not expecting a call from them I would ofcourse be wary as there are better ways to communicate with most people these days via letter, email, text but when you are expecting a call from this service having it blocked on first attempt can lead to an inconvenience now that I have to wait another 2 hours for her to call me back.

I will unblock this on my phone so I can receivr the call next time.

I have the same problem every single day this number say I have to do my information credit check Then I can have supplies from them but I had use provided from Simply Energy Electric and gas more then 6 years and keep telling me provider my Bank details and and DOB …..
Then my final bill I have paid but they keep post to my email I still owned Horrible Company I was thinking this like scams

Woman claimed she had received a request for a final bill on my account and wanted to verify if that was true. I said no then she said she’d make a note on my account to that effect. Asked for my personal details which I refused to give. I finished the call. Pretty sure it is a scam. Woman making the call extremely hard to understand.
