Definitely SCAM.

I just called the scamers back and she tried to tell me it wasn't them that called even though it had called me twice in 2 days. I gave her a few choice words. She also carried an accent. I hate scammers.

Had a call from them saying they were the Investigations office of the ATO. Called the ATO and they said it was a scam.

Computer generated voicemail saying they want me to call the department immediately or they will have to issue a warrant for my arrest (I'm a goodie two shoes - never done anything illegal!). Called back and got a man with a strong accent who said he was from the ATO. When I asked for proof he said sure then the phone line cut out.

Yeah, saying I’ll get arrested if they don’t here back from me! Idiots! I didn’t do anything unlawful to fall for this scam!

I just received the same scam call from this number. The computerised voice said they were from the Australian tax office, regarding legal proceedings in "your name" and threatened to issue an arrest warrant if you don't call back.

Same call received here - claims to be the ATO. When you ring back the number reports as busy.

SCAM - called claiming to be from the ATO and that a lawsuit was being filed in my name. It's a computer voice with poor English sentence structure. Disregard this scam.

I didnt answer it, but when I rang back it just rang out.
