Got a call from this so called company, IT IS A SCAM FOLKS. Do NOT give them any details no matter how much they seem to know about you. I was told by an Indian guy with the unlikely name of Bryan Smith, that I talked to his associate 38 days ago and gave them permission to action this and take payment of £49. I gave him a real hard time insisting I did not give them permission or any bank details. He insisted that I had. He quoted bank details and my date of birth. I was furious, he was going to give me a website but hung up first. I imediately went to my bank and changed my bank account so it is impossible for them or anyone they sold my details to to access the account. Police said this is a common fraud.

elderly mum and dad have had call from this number every day since 4 july 11, syaing that they had authorised a payment from their crad to prevent unwanted tel calls(very funny i thought) the caller had sorte and account deatails, caller was annoyed when mum told him no way would she have authorised the amount of £49 to be taken of her card. it has been reported to the police and banks.dont fall for this scam.caller said he was from a company called SURE TO SUPPORT. caller had and INDIAN accent.

They told me they were called SAIS corporation, they couldn't tell me why they called themselves that. Same old story, they told me that I have given my details 40 days ago giving them my card details etc in order to give them the sum of £49, in order to stop telemarketing calls.I told them I had not etc etc. So far they have not asked me for my account details, nor have they asked me to confirm any other details such as date of birth or anything like that. The only thing I don't exactly understand, is that, if they have all the details to remove money, why bother phoning me at all? You would think that if they have all the information necessary, they would just remove any money they want to at will, and hope that I didn't realize until it was too late to do anything about it.I did ask the guy if he could tell me the details of which card etc he had details of, but he told me he couldn't tell me because of data protection act.When I rang my bank up, the bank offered to sell me some identity fraud protection insurance, other then that they said they couldn't do anything about it until money had been taken.

Don't fall for this. Asian accent reporting to be calling from Glasgow calling themselves 'Call Stop'. Stating they have your bank details and need you to confirm the details.....DON'T. When refused they will continue to ring you and threaten to take £100 from your account immediately. When I identified myself as Police, he hung up.

BT state the number is international and untraceable. Only option is to change your number and stay ex-directory and sign up to the telephone preference service (TPS) which is completely free.
