I have spent over two hours on the phone this morning on three different numbers and still cannot talk with a person who can help me. I want advice on Age Pension requirements and all I get is information on everything BUT Age Pension issues.
How do I get information as I was given the first of the numbers called by my Centrelink office when there yesterday?

So insulting and rude. I have a temp job, they told me to take time out and join a job centre like skillsmatch, i explained I was working, the guy said it was my problem to get time off work.
The people that work there, could not give a toss about the people they are supposed to support. centrelink is staffed by rude, racist, bigotted people who make no attempt to provide any level of customer service. 6 week wait so far and nothing on my claim. 30 minutes on the phone with a staff member assessing my claim, waited 3 weeks for the phone appointment, phone cut out, the guy didnt even have the decency to call back to complete the claim.
So unbelievably frustrating and rude.
Love to see them on the dole and have to jump through the hoops they create for nothing.

i would like to make an appointment to speak to someone who can understand a accented english and does not give you the run around.i would like to apply for the commenwealth health care card and upgrade my online acces from 1 to 3 rating.they give you the run about there as well.there is a link to upgrade and when you go there it says you cant upgrade and to contact centrelink . i cant get trough to speak with anyone.
