I received a phone call from this number at 8:28 pm 31/01/14. When I saw it was from an interstate number I answered with "This better be life or death".
The guy replied "This is Grant from So and So Research"
I says "It's 8:30 pm at night, is this life or death?"
He says "It is not life or death"
I says "Then I'll talk to you later"
hahaha then I hung up the phone...pmsl

got called today and my number is silent. I don't get many but didn't know number so didn't answer it

I used to work in market research, so to answer a couple of questions... The Do Not Call register only applies to companies trying to sell stuff, hence market research firms, charities etc can still call you and it is completely legal for them to do so. Most market research companies have their own 'don't call' lists, so just ask them to add you to theirs and you won't receive any more calls from THAT particular company. Second, the standard calling times for evenings are 4.30pm to 8.30pm, so receiving a call at 8.26 is not unusual. Third, many legitimate market research companies DO operate on Sundays, so getting a call on the weekend may be annoying, but it is not illegal, nor does it mean the call is not legit. I called the number back, it was Roy Morgan Research. The message at their end said my number was selected randomly, and as such there is no action required by me

My husband just missed a call from this number. I called it back and it said something about roy morgan research and "if you are returning a missed call, it was likely that your number was selected at random".

Received a call from (03) 9224 5352 at 6.33pm. Watched it ring for a while then blocked it! I am certain it was telemarketing. I am on the Call Register yet still get stupid calls like this. Unknown = unanswered, that's my way!

This number has been calling me 3-4 times every day, weekends & public holidays. It's been a week so far & i have never answered it. I'm hoping they will give up.. I'm a new mum & tired anyway, these mofos need to get a life..

this number has phoned my mobile 3 times in 7 days - as soon as i go to answer, the call is shown as a "missed call". I'm on a DO NOT CALL register for that phone!!

By God, I hate these dishonest, devious type people who go around conning people out of their hard earned, scarce money! Called me late on a Sunday evening! And my mobile is UNLISTED!!! So how the hell did they get my number in the first place??
