insurance line. calls several times a day only ringing once then stopping. when I call back its just a message from insurance line. I got a different phno of theirs and rang it telling them what was happening and asked them to stop. They said they will put a note on the system not to call my number. They stopped calling for just over a month then started again using this phno. I have called them again asking to stop.

It's legitimate AGL sales team. Not sure why people keep saying it isn't. AGL confirmed they do outbound sales calls to try to get people onto different services or add benefits. They continue to call as they are on a dialler system. If you have any concerns, ring AGL and ask for no sales calls and they can put a note on your account.

If it is from AGL, why call up anyone on a Saturday? AGL should clarify this.

its not their number, they are using call forwarding when you call back

so just to clarify... cos these comments freaked me out cos I actually needed to talk to AGL lol but yes this is a legitimate AGL sales team ringing.... just in case you wanted to talk to them but couldnt be bothered ringing, like me.. and wanted to take the opportunity to sort out your account... have a nice day

Just finished talking with AGL. They have no records of anyone trying to call me and it most definitely is NOT AGL

Calling me daily but have blocked the number but still get the missed call notifications but no messages left.

i have had this number ring me 25 times they never leave a message then if they don't get me on this number they ring on an (02) number and the same a message is never left I have just recently changed from AGL to another provider so it maybe them but a message is never left and I don't answer ph numbers I don't recognize.

Amazing how I become a valued client of AGL when I get sick of their rates and switch to competitors Powershop.
It is legit AGL and not a scam.

I got a call from this number and gave few personal details. Later my brain went into investigave mode and after reading the previous comments I rang this number.
1. Answered by AGL
2. Asked my AGL account number which I gave
3. From the remarks left by the previous caller and read out to me I am now happy that it was legitimate call from AGL.

Just had this number call and got no response when asked who it was. I Hung up.

They rang today, suspected telemarketers/pests, ignore and hang up buttons work well.

this number is from agl, i called it and went to the agl call anytime, its not a scam its legit., ive heard that voice on the agl line many times, well every time i call agl, and that would like say 3 years

I just called AGL about this. They do have that number on record. It's legit.

I received a call from this number claiming to be AGL, started asking personal details and ensuring that I was happy with my account, sounded like a scam..

Not scammers legit AGL just a follow up call re new service connection.
