Have to stop serving a customer to answer the phone and when I do it's silent, I wait for a while but nothing. They call on a regular basis.

Scam - don't bother answering - report the number to your telephone company or Police

Strange it shows up as Private on the screen but with the number visible underneath. I suspect it may be a call in connection with nbn hook up and arranging telstra technician time to visit. Will wait and see if he calls again.

Here is what you can do (I did): call Commander's number 1300 296 142 and ask them the same questions that they asked you, i.e. how many lines do you have, are you on nbn etc. Drive them mad, like they are driving us mad. If you are concerned about your own number being visible, make it invisible by preceding their number with 1831 - removes your own caller ID.

they just called me and said they wanted to know if i was having any trouble with my phone lines over the nbn. When i said everything was fine, they didn't want to talk any more. They did not introduce themselves or say what company they were calling from, however the implication was they were from the NBN. It was obviously not.
