Calling to collect an overdue bill on behalf of Simply Energy. They are becoming a nuisance as I have paid in full but they keep calling every day seeking the payment. Will be contacting Fair Trading.

Harassment for an apparent $60 debt from approximately 7 years ago
And no previous phone calls over last 7 years until 2-3 months ago

AGL debt collector although I have an agreement with AGL not them harrassment caller

There is a legal statutory on money owed unless it's the government, any outstanding debt of 6 years or more comes a stale debt and they cannot legally collect or force you to pay, however there is a loophole the 6 years starts from your last payment or the last time you agreed to the debt or a payment plan

Calling on behalf of SimplyEnergy for a bill I received less than 10 days ago. Won't respond to email, really rude. Requested numerous times to be removed from their database with no resolution. Spoke to SimplyEnergy who admitted their mistake, still get calls.

I called back number (03) 9131 7600 reached iVR for Recoveries Corp.

Called my phone but did not answer.Called back and they couldn't provide details other than they are collections and they wanted me to give them my details so they could id me. Scam callers.

They call, I answer and they don't say anything at other end. Starting to become annoying. Why call people, if your not gonna say anything.

phoned me on my mobile saying it was on behalf of agl for an overdue amount at an address in another state who used my mobile as their contact. When I double checked the name it was slightly different, and I have never lived at the property or state in question. Super pissed they just googled "close enough" details to find someone with similar name to that of the original account holder. What a hack bunch of snoopers they are, first rule...find the right person. Ugh.

Calling to wrongfully collect an overdue bill on behalf of Simply Energy. I have paid in full before the bill due date but Simply Energy didn't correct their mistake by asking Recoveries corp by removing my data from their database. They keep calling so I have contacted Fair Trading and lodged a complaint to ENERGY AND WATER OMBUDSMAN Victoria. Simply Energy sold their customer information to Recoveries corp to collect a PAID amount. What a joke! No wonder they have 1 star on Google review.

It's actually 7 years and only if you haven't made payment in 7 years

Don’t trust them I had a payment plan through them for an old electric bill and they took my 600 out of 800 owing for me to still have to pay another debt collector the full 800 because recoveries Corp didn’t process payments correctly and no one knows where my money went... (bullsh*t!)

They introduced they are from AGL

I called back number (03) 9131 7600 reached IVR for Recoveries Corp.
