Caller: (03) 9113 9573 Autodialler (robo-dialler). It wants to know if there is a human voice or even if you just pick up the phone. If you respond it will just add you to a list for calling by a real scammer/criminal. If that happens just hang up and report it to the ACCC scamwatch website or simply ring your local, state and federal politicians and demand that something is done about this. Never respond to these criminals or argue with them and NEVER say 'yes' in response. NEVER press a key on you phone keypad. Hang up. Simple.

Caller: “Telstra” Indian accent. Claimed to be from Telstra. Said my internet was being used for illegal activity. (My internet connection is not Telstra) Asked where he was calling from, gave me some bogus address in Melbourne. I asked “how’s the weather?” He says “it’s a nice day” (I googled it, it is not a nice day) I went on to ask if my internet is being used for illegal stuff shouldn’t the police being on to it. He went on to give me dribble about changing passwords and what not. And asked “if your from Telstra, you wouldn’t be calling me, because my internet isn’t with them” and he hung up

Most annoying. Keep ringing. Husband answered once, and they said they were enquiring about solar panels. Husband said we already have them

Caller: Call centre scammer This time the number asked for me by name. I refused to say yes, instead I asked what the caller wanted. Caller started to say he was from Telstra but then the call was terminated by the caller, probably because I have been known to waste the time of the 'Telstra' scammers who want you to sit at your computer while they tell you what to do. NEVER follow the instructions... these scammers are trying to hold your computer to ransom by infecting it with viruses, trojans and other nasties. These are organized criminal gangs who do not care who they steal from.

It's the nth time the numbar rang our landline, but the answering machine asks them to leave a message... As usual, the caller does not! If it was indeed anything important, the cvaller would leave a message.

The caller said he was from SUN ENERGY and wanted to sell me solar panels. I told him we already had a 10kw system, two batteries for storage and were off the grid, but he wanted to still sell me more solar panels.
