Same as all other complaints - seems after they tell you they are calling from Telstra and you hang up after they can not answer details that they continue to call 3 to 4 times a day and hang up. Best to just ignore this number.

Have had repeated requests from this number from someone trying to speak to the person who holds the phone account. Now, the calls (almost daily!) just proceed immediately to a hang-up tone. Very annoying. Clearly spam originally, now just a nuisance. Reported to the ACMA Do Not Call Register, but don't hold much hope for that either.

Had 2 hang up calls from this number last 2 days and the company said they are being scammed and have been trying to fix it with Telstra for the last 2 months. Sounds a little hard to believe.

Has called our number everyday in the past two days, hanging up as soon as we answer. Called back number to reach voicemail saying 'extension 7707 is busy' and to leave a voicemail

(03) 9111 1781 This is NOT Telstra. They say they are but they are not. I have complained about the number at https://www.donotcall.gov.au/enquiries.cfm or 1300 792 958 I went along with their spiel to find out who they are. I eventually got through to a supervisor which is where they do a voice recording to 'sign you up'. The telemarketer had originally introduced himself as calling from Telstra and said that they had found an error in their billing and that I have been overcharged. He then asked to confirm my identity ie date of birth, address, email address etc. When I got put through to his supervisor, I immediately asked the question - "Are you Telstra Corporation Limited?" He said "we are a Telstra wholesaler" I said "Let me repeat the question, are you calling from Telstra Corporation Limited?" He said "we are a Telstra wholesaler" I said "No, that's not what I asked you. I asked if you were calling from Telstra Corporation Limited?" He said "As I said before, we are a Telstra wholesaler". This banter went on for about another 4 or 5 times. I said "Let me simplify this for you, when I receive my bill, will it have a Telstra logo on the top left corner?" He again said "As I said before, we are a Telstra wholesaler". I said, this call is not going to progress until you give me an honest answer. He said that "no, there will not be a Telstra logo on the bill" So I hung up. Then called Telstra who advised me that I should contact the Government Dept, Do Not Call Register. Best to just hang up on these guys and then complain about them. The upshot of all that was that when I checked into the deal that I had been offered, compared to what I was currently paying, there was about a dollar difference. They are dishonest grubs

These people are becoming serial pests. I just had another call from this number and when you answer with your companies name there is silence and they promptly hang up on you. I tried calling the number and got the following message "the person at extension 7707 is currently not available leave your message".

Someone else from this number rang again with the same info about over charging me with Telstra & I was going to get a cheaper deal, unlimited local calls unlimited downloads and no line rental for $90 a month. Once again they hung up when I said send me a letter.

She said that I'd been paying to much on my phone bill over the last few months and they wanted to fix it. I said send me a letter and hung up.

Have had two phone calls from this number in the past two days - one just five minutes ago. You answer the phone, there is silence and they hang up on you. I agree with what Jackie has put down - they are scammers and don't bother answering.
