They either get our numbers from on-selling - that is, when we've bought things online and need to provide a number - or random dialling. My theory with either is that if we answer, they realise that's a real number so keep trying because they want to sell their solar panels/insurance (the two most common things I've had)

Caller: Automated caller Yet another message threatening to cut off my service if I don't whatever... I never wait to hear the rest of the message Same message, same voice,just different number. How are these low-life criminal scum able to get legitimate numbers from Australian telcos?
