I received a missed phone call from (03) 9095 9000 and they did not leave a message

Caller: Supposely from ANZ Home Loans offering a check up on my home loans

Think this was a scam, sent a text msg first from ANZ Home Owner Personal Banker and they were going to call in 1 minute. This is the number they called from but I refused to give any information. I said that with all the scams going on ANZ wouldn't just call for as a courtesy to check in to see how my home loans were going.

This is a legitimate ANZ phone number

No message left, and the missed call was timed at 1:59pm in West Aus.... that's 1 minute to COB on the east coast.

I’ve received direct calls from ANZ and I don’t recognise the number. Also bizarre for them to call me at 1am EST. I say scam. No matter how many people say not a scam. No banks call at 1am EST. They just don’t. I know because the restricted business hours have screwed me over before. So absolutely do not trust.

It is indeed ANZ banking, i recently applied for a small personal loan and this is their return call number! They're a good bank with a solid reputation. thank you ANZ!

After receiving a call from this number I contacted ANZ directly and confirmed it was from them, and the call was in relation to an existing personal loan. However, if ever in doubt, call the company back directly

They say they are ANZ but there's no reason for ANZ to be calling me. So...I'd say scam. Even if it IS ANZ, they will usually aways send an email if they can't get a hold of you. So wait it out.

This is ligitimate. It is the ANZ bank calling you regarding an application or similar. They just called me and I checked here first, but it is regarding an application we have submitted.
