You know it's a scam when they ring you, instead of you ringing them. These filth even ring before/after business hours, I have lied to them, given false information to them and yet these dogs still keep ringing

Just had a phone call from this number claiming to offer me an energy deal - I told them to promptly get stuffed and hung up on them.

I just answered a call and it was from someone wanting to compare my electricity usage and try and get me to sign up with someone who offered me a better deal. I took a look at the DataU website as suggested in another post and have requested that my number be removed. It is very quick and easy to do. Hopefully that will help.

I have been getting multiple calls per day from various numbers so have had to put a block on my phone for all calls except those in my contact list as it was becoming a major harassment. Like previously mentioned when you block one number they change the number by 1 digit and ring again. I received 5 calls before lunch yesterday from different numbers. Don't recall completing any survey's or entering competitions so don't know where these calls are coming from. Some of them when you answer are trying to scam you into things regarding your electricity and insurance and when you tell them you don't have an account with them they hang up. Praying on the vulnerable just like the vultures they are!!!

I entered a stupid Carnival Cruises comp via FB which started 15 calls per day from 5 diff Telemarketing companies ... Although I've blocked all calls, abd only see notification of each call; still annoying that my info getting sold WITHOUT my permission.

I'm recently registered on the DMC register so it is takes 30 days to take effect. I also did an "auto do not call" form on DataU website, as the are the ones selling our numbers to diff companies.

Hi to www.datau.com.au and go to "Privacy" tab to list your number beibg removed... Takes 30 seconds and worth it long term.
Never again will enter any competition that requires my real phone number! Jerks.

When asked how they got my contact details, they proceeded to tell me that I supplied them when I made a purchase with 'X' company. I had not made any purchases with said company, so they must of obtained my details illegally. They are absolutely relentless so they have been added to the auto reject list of Who Called Me.
