Caller: Indian sounding woman

Home phone rang. Long delay after I answered, lady wishing to supply free energy saving device. I asked for the name of this device and she said "Energy Adviser". Digging deeper, she supplied me a Government web address. Sounded legit so I typed it in. I noticed 2 different characters in hers, not in the official vic gov web address.

I became suspicious when she never once mentioned "Power Pal". Coincidently, I neglected to mention I had one installed last month. She eventually gave up on me.

SILENT CALL Scam. This number rang my landline today.
It’s an unknown number but I’ve been getting HEAPS of these unknown numbers that sound only three ring tones, then it stops without giving me a chance to answer!!!!
And our multi-BILLION dollar hopelessly pathetic Telstra tell me they can’t do a dam thing about these calls!!!

Phone rings, I answer, no one there, I think they just testing to know if it answers so they can sell my number to telemarketers.
