I just got a call from this number as well (I am in Queensland) and like a lot of others, when you answer nobody is there. I have now blocked this number as well as a lot of others.

These people are constantly calling me. First few times I just said not interested before hanging up, then I didn't even let them speak and just hung up. Now I have blocked this number. They are clearly in some sort of helpdesk environment because I can hear other people in the background. Very annoying.

These people don't stop calling, they are really aggressive, won't take me off their database. Really really annoying

(03) 9081 4400 calls 3-4 times daily. I don't answer as I have Googled and found this forum amongst others. Have blocked the number. No time for time wasters!

bloody number rang me 3 times in an hour today. total of 15 calls since tuesday. no message left althought went thru to message bank just a lot of noise. Idiots.

Keeps calling and disconnecting when I answer

Called saying that they are from an energy company. When I said they shouldn't be calling me as I'm on the Do Not Call register, they ignored what I said and persisted with their dodgy sales pitch. Then I just hung up on them.

Charge them high phone bills. .

idiots I have blocked this number and they constantly call on a daily basis, I see when they call in my call log ,I am an aged person and if I were not smart I would be afraid of fools like this I believe the authorities need to throw the book at them and punish them with the full force of the law.

I receive this call daily but never answered before. Today I decided to answer and I said 'hello' twice before hearing a ping and an automated voice said 'goodbye' and hung up.
Be careful because I think they recorded my voice because I heard this ping after a while. I heard to never say 'yes' because they can record and use it later.

They call me all through work - so I do not answer - when you call back - not connected. Called my service provider and all they can say is I have to block the call. In the technology we have today and for what we pay for with service providers - they should have these numbers blocked. There should be something in place to stop these people calling. All my service provider could offer was that in 5 days I would get a text advising how to block - not good enough - they should not have my number in the first place. What I have noted from similar calls in the past - when you text/ring back and they say a message is not delivered - yes it is. Just leave a really abusive threatening message and you never hear from them again. Tried this out on the 03 number and another one that calls basically every 2 hrs + +06 0488 00097. Try being really abusive and the chances are you will never hear from them again.

Annoying feral pests who are tosspots and losers.

This is related I think regarding a scam "Win $1000 Coles Voucher" text mssg sent out a couple of months back, (I was stupid enough to respond to), now I am constantly bombarded with various (most likely dodgy) telemarketing calls from anywhere from Mauritius to India, Phillipines etc. Don't answer if this number calls. If you ring it back it doesn't answer. For people wanting to complain - call Coles Head Office and ask about who/what they sharing info with unsolicited 3rd parties. Unfortunately there's not much you can do once your details are with a 3rd party, apart from asking them to remove your number and not call again (they may do this, but then sell your number onto a different 3rd party who will then call you, - this repeats ad nauseum) or report the number to the telecommunications ombudsman (the telemarketing scammers will just start using one of thousands of internationally linked SIP numbers with 03 xxx etc anyway if this happens. Good luck!

Scammer said the call was about a vehicle accident I had been in, but could not tell me any details at all, then hung up.

Have called me every day, but I have blocked the number.

Samsung phones is easy to block or even download the Hiya app that can do it for you, and allows you to report also.

Don't answer and be very wary of other phone calls you receive if this number has started calling you. Your number must have been added to a register somewhere.

The one time they did speak said they were from an energy comparison site and that they could give me 40% off my energy bill (doubt it) based on my location. To which I asked how they knew my location. He said they had my address and started to repeat it to me and when I asked how they had gotten this information he hung up.

I've had other calls lately trying to confirm all sorts of details from me. Be very careful what you say. So many scammers around.
