Yes, spam call. When I answered there was silence for about 20 seconds and then someone said hello and nothing else. Then they hung up.

I am sick of these calls. I called simply energy to complain and i was told it was a broker selling energy. I missed a call on a Saturday morning, so now i am angry, on monday i plan to complain to both simply energy and the TIO. Its just ridiculous how they dont leave a message, hang up when you answer and play an automated message when you call back..
Sort your sh*t out simply energy - I never want anything to do with you.. and to whomever sold them my number i hope take a good look at yourselves and correct your lives

I am receiving unsolicited phone calls from (03) 9034 3233 and believe this number is from Simply Energy ABN 67 269 241 237 (or a business \ department providing service to or representing themselves on behalf of Simply Energy). Can you please ensure the offending entity desists immediately.

This is now the 5th number that has tried me on the rotation from SA, QLD now Melbourne. I wrote to them on the info line on the website and after being fed up with it all and added my number to the do not call list and the response was that my number had been added to do not call but the rotation lasts 4 weeks!!!!! and to ignore the calls. They also went on to say that they only contact customers who are clients of their own responding to a query and this is clearly a LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told them if they continue to call me I will contact the ACCC and the Ombudsman. It's an invasion of my privacy and if I ever did decide to switch energy providers I would NEVER choose them. How stupid this marketing exercise is. Go to the website if your calls persist daily like mine which are now calling in to the evening and email them through the contact us link.

Yep it's happening to me, they never give up and do not leave a message. If you don't answer the first time, why can't they get the message you don't want to talk to them and for them to give up calling.

Just received a call from them and they hung up before I could even answer. My samsung phone gave me the option of adding them to spam numbers, which I have done, so hopefully no more calls from them

Yeah.. Try doing this .. When that number calls ... Answer it and when they speak and even if they dont talk... Say " this is senior detective Baker of sydney police and you have called a mobile of someone in a crime scene.. I need to get your name and address and your involvement with this person... I use this when i get these calls and they usually just hang up... But they never call back again...

If you have an iphone, you can add the number to the blocked callers list. Go to settings, then phone, then add it

After signing up with Simply Energy, I have been receiving lots and lots of phone calls everyday. sometimes in this phone number, sometimes in other different numbers.
