Silence for 5 seconds followed by a very distant and grainy indian voice who calls himself "Mick" on behalf of U Capital. Hung up after i told him im on the do not call register. (Not that it means anything these days)

Hung up on me when I answered and then did not pickup when I called back.

Called to ask to speak to the owner of the business,
As assistant to the owner, I filter all calls and wouldn't let him through till I knew why.
He insisted it was a personal and confidential matter.
I stated as he didn't know the owners name, I doubted that and if he wished to discuss anything I would be allowed to know.

He hung up abruptly.

Phone call rang, I said hello multiple times and didn't get a response. I hung up.

Scammers from India

They claim to be calling from an office in Market Street Sydney. They claim to be U Capital and are supplying businesses with unsecured loans

Called to have discussion regarding no obligation lower interest rates. Better than Banks. Told him I was taken recently so I was folding my business plus I did not plan to leave my bank whom I have been dealing with for over 30 years even if I was well. Told him. My company won’t be trading or exist in the new year so don’t bother calling back. Block and placed in “Do not Answer” list

as said above; 100% a cold call. they try to get you to talk to them by claiming claiming it's a confidential matter to discuss with the business owner. at worst a scam, at best a random unsolicited company. don't listen to a word they say lol

Again, Indian woman asking for me by name, told me it was about an unsecured business loan.

Keep calling me on my business mobile which they have extracted from ASIC records. Told them im not interested and to take my off their list. Within an hour someone else called again. It is a Indian call centre that ignores what you say and just stick to their sales script.

If it's a legitimate business it's probably dodgy.
More likely it's a scam where they offer you a loan. You pay an upfront 'application' fee and you never hear from them again.

claimed it was a very very important call so they must speek to the owner. somthing about a business loan.

(03) 9021 6949 called me... As soon as I answered it hung up... Googled the number and all over the net shows this as unwanted caller selling stuff....

Annoys me since my mobile is private!

I called back number (03) 9021 6949 spoke to a guy who said company name is U Capital.
