Just had a call said it was Amazon I hung up been having a lot of these calls lately

Wanting to renew my account - needless to say i hung up.

Caller: Scammers

Recorded message saying my internet is getting cut off and I need to connect to their broadband. Press 1 to speak to a technician. Of course I just hung up. Bloody scammers.

Melbourne originating call, didn’t recognise the number, I answered but didn’t talk, they hung up and I called back and of course the number doesn’t work. Lowlife scammers

Bot call regards Amazon Prime - credit of $79.99 to use on my account ... I dont have an account with them, so rubbish scam call !

They said they were from Telstra.
Wanted me to turn on computer.
You know what I said.

Auto-bot for fake Amazon Prime auto-billing

Caller: Claim to be form ANZ Bank

Wanting to confirm payment made to USA. Im not an ANZ customer. Obvious scammer

This number called, but they didn't speak and then just hung up.

Caller: Automated message from "Amazon"

Didn't listen to the whole message, I hung up and blocked caller as soon as I heard "from Amazon". I presume they were about to tell me I owed money or my account had been compromised. Something along those lines is the usual message.

Robotic voice, claiming that the phone call is from Amazon and prompting me to press 1, in order to renew my Amazon account 🙄...which I've never had😂

I changed my number so I wouldn't be able to get this type of messages and it didn't worked out well I'm still getting these annoying messages.

It says call fr Amazon to say they will ve charging $79 from my credit card for auto subscription..have blocked the number..I dont have any Amazon account...

Calling to say I have been charged $9.00 for a subscription. If I want to cancel the subscription then I need to press 1.. I assume they want your credit card details to cancel this “subscription”.

Caller: Automated message claiming to be Amazon

I'm not sure how this scam works, presumably you give credit card details or something to get the automatic charge reversed. Had this same call from three different numbers now, I have no Amazon account to be auto-renewed.
