got the call on my answering machine - threatening to sue for tax fraud and tax evasion - terrible legal consequesnces if I didn't call back immedicately, then have a blessed day. Really how bad are they

Tax Office scam about tax evasion designed to frighten you into calling back and giving them your details.

Left a message on home phone claiming I am a fraudulent tax evader and may be doomed if I don't call back...(for a second there I thought they were on to me!) the person was a representative of the ICO...not sure what that stands for? International cockhead office?

Left me 3 messages with 3 different numbers, one mobile, one in VIC and the other NSW!! Idiot!

Had a call from this number and when I answered it no one speak. After 19 seconds it said 'goodbye'.

Received a missed call. They Did not leave a msg and when I tried calling back it shows as busy. Thanks to this post now I will know how to deal with them.

well must be a new scam going on with this number, today i got a call from the number asking for my address and they knew my name, when i questioned the foreigner on the other end as to who he was,what he wanted and where he was calling from he end up saying sumo energy!!!! pmo when they cant understand a simple NOT INTERESTED!

Yep the little sod with a very odd foreign accent did the same but when I rang back and questioned him and asked for his name and for him to spell it he hung up. I think he said his name was Brandon Jones

Had the same as other scam call from ato NOT his name was Brandon Walsh (90210) was is if number wonder if he has a sister called Brendan like the Rv show
