I had exactly the same message on 13th April

Caller: scammer (from tax dept!!)

People pretending to be from the tax office! Asked me for my tax file number. I told them i didn't have it and the speaker went dead silent. I said you rang me, you should have my TFN. No reply so I hung up! (after yelling scam in his ear!)

Scammer pretends to be ATO and threatens to take action for tax fault.

Left a voicemail for me this morning saying that a warrant was out for my arrest for tax fraud... oh dear!

It comes up as spam/fraud on my phone but they left a message saying an arrest warrant was out for me for tax fraud. When I try to ring back if disconnects me.
So not sure

Said there was a warrant out for my arrest. Scam blocked number

Robot voice saying that they are the Australian Taxation Office. I ended the call there.

Caller: Tax fraud scammers

Voice message saying there’s a warrant out for your arrest for tax fraud and to call this number.

A recorded female voice message was left on my answer machine. I couldn't catch the first couple of words but the sentence finished with a demand that I phone back as this is the final warning. I suspect a scam so didn't call back.
