Recorded message threatening Federal Police visit

Person claimed to be from the ATO and that I was being charged for tax evasion. Tried to get me to send $500 via cardless cash for "courthouse fees".

Tax scam: voice recorded message telling that you are being investigated for tax avoidance, and that you are about to be prosecuted since they have already sent you registered mail which has been returned. Ring immediately to avoid this—push 1 for….: Ignore this… it screams SCAM

Caller: Claimed to be “Australia’s Taxation Office”

Returned missed call from Melbourne number. I called back and got an Indian female who said “This is Australia’s Taxation Office, how can I help you?”
