Caller: "Nortons" Spam refund

Called this spammer.
Couldn't tell me what time it was in Melbourne.
Reported them to Scam Watch
Hopefully the number will be shut down in a couple of days.

Thanks everyone , I just got the same Norton renewal email. The phone number didn't look right so I thought I'd better check on line 1st.

I have just received this message for a 5 year subscription for $467.99. I have not had Norton for 10 years

They're f*cking rip off pricks

They tried to get me to log on. Told the guy to f*ck off

The pricks have sent the same request my way as well

The c*nts sent me the email as well.

I have just received the same thing, did they take the money out of your account.

I have just received the same thing an email for Norton renewal for 4 years renewed and a few hundred dollars will be debited on my bank account.

Me too. Thanks for the heads up. Suspicious as has address in NSW but includes 03 in the phone number indicating a Victorian number.

As per above message of 19 May. My similar email arrived yesterday (28th). The street address given looks like a private house (Google map) although the suburb is wrong for the given postcode) - not a Norton outlet and the phone number is written with a heap of dashes and brackets. The 03 is not a Queensland prefix. Very suss.

Just received email confirming my subscription was to be renewed for Norton which I don't have for nearly $300. I panicked as I that would mean half my pension is gone. Hope I don't get stung
