Number given by people claiming to be from Microsoft windows technical support regarding problems on my computer

There a pack of scammers alright, saying i have been downloading illegally when i wasn't online, they abused my mum over the phone aswell, god help them if i track them dogs down, I wouldnt trust telstra either since its run by a pack of f@#king asians n curry munchers, i recon telstra gives them all the info they need to scam us honest australians, so much for telstra being an australian company.

Lady rang and said she was from Windows support team and that my computer had a bad virus and she was ringing to help me clear them out.... Pretty sure it was a SCAM as I havent heard of this before..

Just had the same thing.  I don't even run Windows here.  They tried to test for ins.exe to see if I had some virus.

They said they were calling from the 'Windows Support Centre'.

Though it seems like it comes from an Indian call centre.
