Same thing, about a road accident, I am worried it is one of those one's where they record you saying yes or no and then use it for something else.
Can we report them to anyone??

Got a call today and told me i should claim for insurance for an accident i have over a year ago. Absolute joke, told them im not interested and i don't want anymore calls but will most likely receive another at some point. Asked who the business was and wouldn't tell me.

Scammers - don't waste a return call to them.

Yup, different people same message. Calling about an apparent accident happened a few years ago and apparently I was there. Asked who gave him my name and contact details and wanted to know his name. When they say the name of their business they sort of mumble and you can't clearly hear the name. Asked him to say the name slowly then he hung up. I've had probably 15 calls about this. Always the same answer...never been in an accident. Then they have the audacity to ask me that maybe a friend or family member was in am accident and I that's the case can I give them their contact details. When I proceed to educate them about privacy issues etc...they hang up..scam for sure number blocked.

Please ring me again I have a referees whistle by the phone and I will destroy your eardrum with it

Calls once or twice a day. I don't know the number so i don't answer it. Looked it up today on here and I will block it.

Got a phone call re guarding a motor vehicle accident I told them they were trying to scam me and f off then got a phone call on these two other numbers (02) 9099 5654 from Sydney NSW and also (07) 3231 4600 from Brisbane QLD all three numbers when I answered them I had said hello three time before I got a reply then I just hung up.

This guy rang today with details about an accident my daughter was involved in. He had my number and my daughters name. My insurance company claims they never release personal information. he hung up when I questioned him how he got my number. very worrying.

Second call I have had today from these scammers - the scary thing is they were asking for my son, who is 10......Think it was the same guy who called from both numbers. Second time he was really rude - but then I wasn't nice either.

English guy with a Welsh sounding accent - I just hung up anyway, wasn't even remotely interested in what he had to say. Have blocked the number.

Tried to call back this number and said that it wasn't available.

Have had one call a day from this number (03) 9008 4231) for the last week. I will not answer - now I know it's a scam - "Malcolm", insurance scam involving fake accident.
