Just called me and insisted I was an owner of a business which was wound up years ago. More BS. Hung up.

Received 3 calls in 30 minutes from this number - Better Business Services. They are trying to sell me onto page 1 of google, where my business already is. They hang up when questioned hard about their services, and then a different operator calls me back and starts again.

phishing for details claiming I had entered a competition for an iphone7, hung up when I started asking questions and called back a couple of times..definitely a scam

They call from private no and listed number. I think they are trying to sell e advertising on google. I hung up and she called back. I explained I had an unpaid listing on google like normal and their call was unsolicited. She didn't understand I told her to stop calling and hung up again. Telelmarketer

Just an Indian call centre trying to scam you into paying too get you on the 1st page of Google ads - which won't happen if you're silly enough to buy into it.
It's so annoying that I simply blocked the number. They continue to try to call but all they will hear is the sound of silence. It shows up on your call logs, but your mobile won't ring. Thank God for
mobile call blocking.

This will be an auto-dialer. The reason you get called 5 or more times a day is that it's a computer and will keep dialing, with a frequency depending on how it's been set up, until someone answers. The person at the other end is just sitting in front of a computer screen waiting for the dialer to connect to someone. And I'm sorry Angry Lady but 9 out of 10 responses will be like yours. They rely on the other 10% of gullibles. The reason they seem to hang up on you is that an auto dialer, by it's very nature that you'd have to get someone else to explain, drops a certain percentage of calls, one example is it may interpret you as an answering machine. This, from their point of view, is just collateral damage. It's a numbers game. Regarding the DNC register, they probably have the number from an old data base possibly with the name of the previous owner of the number but before you yourself registered with DNC. That's how they get around that. And lastly, sadly, they may have a hundred numbers to cycle through so even 'though you've blocked this one they may call from a different number every week or two. Only thing you can do is to be vigilant. If NO ONE ever bought anything from them they would very quickly go away.

Always calls after placing a ad on gumtree, scammers, now operating under a different name and number, reconise the voice and same scam tactics, beware there con artists

Hi, just received a call from that number, search that number on Google and now blocked, easy fixed.

Interesting thing with this No. is I already blocked it on my mobile but they still managed to call me. As soon as I see the No. I just cut the call off without answering.

Girl amy rang me twice within 3 hours. Bad bad bad move girl! I just rang back and let her have it! I doubt she will be working in this job any more. Technical difficulties hung me up apparently. Liar amy!
