Been getting calls on my mobile for this number and similar Melbourne numbers ever since I signed an online petition. Has put me off signing online petitions ever again.

Caller: 9006 xxxx

So many unknown numbers. Blocked, blocked and blocked. Don't answer. If it's important, they will text or leave a voicemail. All the important people in my life know I don't answer unknown or private numbers anyway.

What makes you think, Anonymous, that Australia, I presume you mean The Government , will protect you from anything. In this country you are merely a source of money. Your phone number can be purchased too.
This is how Apple Marketing has your and everybody elses numbers. They don't need you to give them your details.

I have got sooo many call attempts from multiple numbers but from the same lot. All trying to scam money. I am seriously beyond a joke sick to death of them calling me constantly and daily.

My phone tells me that the above number called my phone no message left. I have seen this number before and no response from me.

Caller: Fund Raiser for Guide Dogs

Called on my mobile number...Wanted me to buy tickets in fund raiser for Guide Dogs. As I usually do; asked caller to wait...After they gave up waiting, added the number to my contacts and BLOCKED it!.

I have a friend who was fed up with Apple Marketing calls. He checked the number through Reverse Australia. One day, he was in the mood when he recognised one of their numbers. He answered "Hello Apple Marketing. What the f..k do you want?" Surprise, surprise, they hung up and he's not had any more calls.

Don't know person ringing. Already had number blocked

didn't answer, as they have a range of number which call. I'm not taking any Melbourne calls from [03] 9006 xxxx again.

Interesting that I get a call from (03) 9006 0157 the day after I made a purchase on eBay.
I expect the contact numbers are being sold or otherwise gained from such online transactions.
I have no intention of answering, and see from historical comments, that it is just an unsolicited call.

(03) 9006 0157 and (03) 9006 0174 calling me almost everyday. No message ever left. They keep using different numbers.

Answered and I could hear someone breathing on the other end...so I hung up and blocked the number.
