Just got a call from someone who was reading from a script pretending to be the ATO. They asked me to verify my first and last name. I hung up.

I missed the call but got some voice message about tax avoidance or something from a text to speech voice.

Threatening tax scam - left audio message after very breif ring. I have blocked the number.

They were saying that they called from Australian Taxation Office.

Caller: A man with Indian accent

They called this morning claiming to be the Australian Taxation Office and for a full name and TFN, this is not the ATO.

Got a missed call from this .after sometime I called back and someone pick up the phone and I told the person very respectfully that I got miss call and he ask me my name and address and I simply refuse and ask him first he should tell me who he is and he refuse to do so and told me that he got my details anyway and cut the phone.Then I called back and he simply start speaking in my native language Punjabi .Don't know what to do
