git call from the (03) 9001 5893 number i said i wasn't interseted and i got a FU from him and then he hung up!!!!

The number is from Simply Tel ... call them on 1300 822 955

This number called twice today and when i answered it they hung up.Rang number back and it dialed out.Very annoying and sneaky ,will watch out for these privacy invaders in the future and will give them some medicine back

Call center wanting to talk about the telstra land line in the business they are calling. I just go a call again...
Same spiel as before from these other numbers as well - (03) 9001 5894; (03) 9001 5888; (03) 9009 6601. Now I just say straight off the bat, "please take me off your database" but they just hang up and keep on calling back. That shows their privacy act obligations is not up to scratch if the just hang up on the person they are calling. Not a good call center if you ask me.

Just added them to my PBX's 'do not let through' list.

Someone from this number called claiming to be from "Telstra's Wholesale Division" and offering me a cheaper deal. Eventually I got him to admit he wasn't from Telstra. So they are lying telemarketers.

Yep, same thing with me. Keep calling my number then when I try calling it back from a landline - rings a few times then disconnects.

Someone called from this number claiming to be from Telstra and asked if they are speaking to the the authorised account representative.  When I said " you havent called the right person", I hung up.

This man called back and said "FCUK YOU, MEL, YOU W***E!", then hung up.

Can't stand when someone calls pretending to be from Telstra and starts asking questions that a Telstra employee would know, and then when you say, so you don't work for Telstra because if you did you would know the answer, the get completely irrate and start being abusive.  I think Telstra should take action against them, they are basically trying to defraud people into thinking they are from Telstra.

These guys are nasty at best. They will misrepresent they are from Telstra Wholesale, I imagine if I didn't no better they would even be half convincing.Fortunately I can blacklist numbers and they are now on it.

I received a call from this number today claiming they were from Telsta, the girls name was Natasha but would not give any identification number - eventually I managed to get her to tell me that the company she works for is called Time Telecom Australia, she was trying to sell wholesale rates? as opposed to retail rates??I recently switched to Telsta through a Business Solution Specialist who were very helpful and offered a very good deal... why then would this other so called Telstra person ring and want me to change it all??    a scam I'm sure!I like so many are so sick of these time wasters ringing when we are trying to run a small business.It would be good to know who we can contact to try and prevent this type of harrassment!!

Certainly sounded like the pause associated with an auto-dialler when I first answered, so it's definitely some kind of call centre.
