Thanks for all your comments. These guys have called on numerous occasions from different numbers. I'm hoping this was the last number at their disposal form me to block.

Telemarketer or energy scam, they keep trying constantly.

Caller: Scam - beware

Misleadingly spoke as if calling from my electricity company offering discounts as I had been a good customer. When I asked the name of my electricity company they hung up.

i didn't answer and they didnt leave a message

My phone says 'Suspected Spam'. Did not answer and BLOCK.

It is definitely telemarketing - re: updating website..etc

Same as the other comments. Blocking an 8840 number daily!

Scam

Left go to messages, but surprise surprise, they didn't leave one. Looked up on here, as I have done numerous times now for different numbers. BLOCKED!!

Called twice didn't leave message. looking at above messages, I will block.

I called back (from a private line) and there was a long silence, then a robotic voice saying "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line and you'll be transferred to the next available agent." I was curious, so stayed on the line. The auto-message repeated three times and was never picked up.

Caller: Alan Williams

They advised they were from my Energy Retailer saying they can give me 47% off my bills. I asked what my last bill was and he said: "We have too many customers to look that up for you". Call my retailer and they advised, no calls have been made to me and that I am on the best deal they could offer. When I advised I will hang up and call back he said "Why you are talking to the senior manager" lol Do not Answer.
