They wanted me to log onto my computer so that they could show me the faults with my system- Totally SPAM

Caller: Indian lady by the name of Olivia who says she is from telstra

Told me to turn on my computer as people are tapping into my internet to commit criminal activity. It is a scam so be very aware

Called twice today on my landline - think it’s a scammer.

It’s a scam fake Telstra

Nobody spoke when I answered. But it seems like a pretend Telstra number.

Caller attempting to convince user to install an app call Quicksupport in iphone so they can remotely access your iphone to steal information

He said he was Telstra to advise me that someone was trying to get into my computer. I said I would get in touch with Telstra if I had any problems. He said he could help me but I said anyone can say they are from Telstra, what proof have I got . I said I wasn't going to turn on my computer. he said he wasn't going to. ask me to do that, did I have an I phone? I said No. He rang off.
