They called me today and asked if it was a Mrs blah blah (can't remember the name), I said no, sorry wrong number and then he asked if Jason was there. I have no idea who Jason was so he hung up.

I answered the call and they hung up 2 seconds later

I got caught by being told it was about my Telstra line. I was given all sorts of offers for great deals, said to help increase use of my landline (reduction in phone/internet package by $30 a month, free local and STD calls from landline, calls to mobiles capped at 99c etc). Sounded good. They had my name, address, mobile number, email address, checked my landline number, then asked for my driver's licence or Medibank number so they could 'check they were giving the discount to the right client'. Suspect.

I'm on a no call list but that doesn't deter this idiot. What an invasion of privacy!

This number was calling me like 7 or 8 times a day i never answered and they never left a msg. I block all numbers now that ring 3 to 4 times with no msg left

have received 5 missed calls from (03) 8644 8065 and (03) 8683 5517 both numbers never leave any messages

Got a missed call, after reading comments decided not to call back as I deal with Optus not Telstra so got to query why I got a call! If it is really Telstra.

It appears to be a Tasmanian number. I dont answer numbers I don't know and I wont be ringing it back either.

the caller claimed to be from Telstra & told me that my internet & landline will be discounted heavily. He had ALL my personal information - very, very persistent. I told him to e-mail me with info he gave over the phone. He said that once I agree to the "contract", I'll have 10 cooling off period days. I didn't trust him, so hung up on him. No further calls from him.

I have had several missed calls from this number and running my own business I returned the call. It however was someone claiming to be "Telstra" at the start of the call about my home internet. They had ALL my personal details address, phone number etc. when I asked where they got it, they hung up. DO NOT CALL THEM. I have blocked the number

telemarketers

Keeps calling many times a day, I don't answer numbers I don't know. If it was important wouldn't they leave a message. Sick of telemarketers calling so don't take the call for that reason.
