These people called me but I missed the call. I tried calling back over some time, but the number has a non-standard 'busy' tone. I am on the donotcall register. Big help that is. And it requires that they present a number OTHER than the outbound number to allow call-backs. Please report them to the donotcall register and ACMA.

Call from a company wanting to talk to the owner of the landline. When I asked what he wanted, he hung up.

Just had another call from this number and its so annoying. You answer the phone and they promptly hang up on you.

Had a call from a young woman who mentioned Telstra very rapidly. The launched into rapid fire spiel about a 30% discount on telephone bill. When I asked who are you from she said Next (Telecom?)
I told her the phones are fine and hung up.

Claims to be Telstra wanting to speak to the account manager - said no one is available and to call back tomorrow between noon and 1pm

I cannot stress strongly enough the benefits of signing onto the do not call register. It has greatly reduced this type of call for me. When on an occasion like this one you can lodge a complaint against the Telemarketers via the Do Not Call Site and it will be investigated. Great work Do Not Call Register, they have acted on this company.

Very squeaky annoying voiced woman claiming to be from Telstra wanting to offer us amazing discounts, I asked "are you from Telstra?" she replied no, to which I replied then I am not interested and so I just hung up but she kept talking until I put the receiver down. I tried to ring the number back and kept getting the engaged signal. I am registered on the Do Not Call Register and find these very annoying and I will be trying to lodge a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

Claims to be Telstra, states that I make local calls and then asks me to confirm. When I say well you should know if you alreadt have that
information he hangs up. Who are these creeps.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Telstra and offering me a 'wholesale discount' of 8% from my next bill because I run a business. After a few questions which they were unable to answer, they said they were ringing from Telstra in Melbourne - the thick Indian accent did not convince me and they hung up! I have now blocked their number

Claims to be Telstra asking about other diverted lines we have. Can someone track these people and call the police. Sick of them calling constantly at work and at home

My line is a business line. When they hear me give my business name and greeting they hang up. They do this multiple times a day when they start. We have been annoyed all day by them on several occasions. I wish businesses could go on the Do Not Call list.

These people persistantly kep calling, delay in speaking when we pick up, then either hang up-or ask to speak to "the person in charge of your phone accounts". We now tell them the boss is away at the moment, and they should try back after 6pm(when we are closed!)
Very annoying, and rude when hanging up, wish they would just p!ss off!

Just got a call from these people saying we are on an old phone rate from Telstra. We have just renegotiated our rate so obviously these people are just trying to get business. Shame there is no way of blocking their number from our line forever. Sick of these kinds of calls.

Well I get this number quite a bit and told the sales person that once I tell others that have called that I have mobile phones in a bundle they all hang up, then he said no I won't and still hung up.

Called to company this morning in regards to landline. I was trying to find who's in charge of company phone account then he hung up.

Guy claiming to be "Sean from Telstra" wanting to talk about landline account; I hesistated in answering and they hung up.
