Why is it that the only time a company is interested in offering you 'the deal of the century' is after you leave them for another company.... just plain bloody annoying!!! Origin offers you a deal then when you don't go with them all of a sudden they offer an even better deal. Makes you wonder what everyone else is paying... does the polite elderly client get charged more than the
pushy client after the best deal.....hmm!

Registering with www.donotcall.gov.au stops the calls. They get a big fine if they continue and a complaint is made.

I was actually an Origin customer but have blocked this number due to the constant missed calls. No opportunity to even answer the phone, it's like their call centre is prompted to make as many calls as possible per day, but not actually speak to anyone! Highly annoying.

Origin energy social media team responding to an issue I had enquired about. Guess it's not just for useless calls. They also left a voicemail and called right back.

Definitely Origin, just rang me following up on service work that was done and checking that it was done to my satisfaction, so not a nuisance call.

Called me, and it literally rang once and they hung up before I could pick up.
They can call me back if they want me so bad.

They called it was very hard to understand them and was very noisy in the back ground all i could make out in the msg left behind was that they were from origin energy. Origin have no reason to call me or should have my number my name is not on any bill with them or will be for quite a while. Given the circumstances this is either a con or a marketing scheme by Origin and should be ok to ignore it. With so much background noise i think it is very un professional and most likely not a real origin call centre though.
