Its AGL rang me with new offer

keeps calling and leaving no voicemail. i called back once and it directed me to accept a call so i hung up straight away. Also blocked the number seems dodgy.

Have had 5 missed calls in the past week. No voicemail and cannot return the phone call

I've had 4 calls today, each time I answer there's no response! Frustrating

Rang 4 times today 05/09/2016 between 12:20 and 16:40, no one answers after I speak, so rang back amd when the call was picked up, no one spoke.

Got call twice today nobody spoke when i answered suggest it might be a call centre that gets paid by the calls they make but does not want to talk for same reason

I checked with AGL through e-mail and I also call to number listed on their website. it is confirmed as one of their Numbers.

Called to say someone had cancelled my account. Would not give details so I hung up.

Have received been called 5 times - tried to call back 4 times - wont connect and even answered twice and it says connecting you - then says sorry we cant connect you we will call back later.

They keep calling, once reading the previous comments on this page it makes more sense. I too, have just cancelled an account with AGL. When I answered it said 'hold the line I have a call for you'. I ignored it the first few times. I finally held the line, a computer generated voice says that they will try to put you through, with no luck. Since this time they are calling far more often. Very annoying. If it is AGL then they need to re-think their marketing strategy.

This is why you don't fill out online surveys. It's how they get your information. They are calling me too do I just don't answer

Very dodgy. Had this number call me 4 times before I answered it. He said he was from AGL and had a report that I was moving house, and he wanted my new address. I told him that I had already organised things with them. He said he just wanted my new address.
I told him that he'd have to read the notes on my account. I said goodbye and hung up.

Got twice this morning and called back that number no dial tone at all

Called twice now each time at about 5.45pm. I answer but no one responds.

I had a call from this number, took a moment for someone to speak then they said they were from AGL and that someone had tried to cancel my account. They weren't able to tell me who or why. They asked for my details which I wasn't going to give them over a dodgy phone call so I asked them to email me; they said they couldn't do that. So have hung up on them. They had my first name when they called.

Same as above, stacks of calls since leaving AGL, all hours of the day. No point blocking it by the sounds of it or they use a different number.

Rang me about a dozen times over a period of 2 weeks, each I answer there's nobody on the line. They called today and its AGL wanting to sell me something. I told them to get f*cked!!!!

It keeps ringing me ever since I left AGL for Momentum Energy

I called back a 2nd time & they picked and hung up straight away

calling everyday and not talking.
