electricity company spam

Didn't answer but it came up with a name (Clayton) on the display with the number, no message was left, pretty sure a scam, has called me twice in as many hours.

Left 3 missed calls on the same day, 1 hour apart. No Message or Voicemail. Suspect Spam.

Trying to sell discounted Electricity

Claiming to be “Wellconnect” a price comparison company. Why isn’t the TIO and ACCC doing something about this? Scamming is now the last industry in the world. This is not very hard to regulate

Caller: Scam from Clayton Victoria

Indian voiced woman named Susan, in a noisy call centre- scamming about a Govt Rebate and if I had Solar Panels. I asked calmly that she remover my name and number from the listing, to which she stopped talking said she certainly would,& kept taking about her scam. I politely thanked her repeatedly and hung up.

Told him to f*&# off and blocked number total scam .

Assuming SPAM telemarketers since they call and hang up upon answering.
