I had a phone call from this number today. They said they were from a company called 24/7 and they were calling on behalf of Insurance Line. I asked them how they got my name and phone number and they said they got it from "Australia On Disc".

Crazy as ever. Wounder when these ppl will stop bugging. Its annoying and disturbs us. Stop calling (03) 8518 4805

thank god im not the only one! this is too anoying!! they call and hand up every time and i had to google this stupid number to see who it was. I get them almost every day and i have had enough!!

This number has been ringing me for the last 4-6 weeks! It keeps hanging up. How do I get them to stop!

Unsolicited...I have not asked for any insurance companies to contact me.

Some tool called me from this number as well - noise in the background sounded like he was at a pub. He was almost shouting into the phone with his annoying salesman voice.

"Don't worry I'm not selling anything! Have you seen blah blah blah insurance blah blah"

I told him to get lost and hung up.

I just got a call on my private mobile number from a guy asking for me by name and saying he was from 24/7. I told him I was at work and couldnt talk, before I got the chance to ask anything more he said he would try me later and hung up.
I have no idea how the could have got my mobile number as I am not listed anywhere and very private with all of my details

Repeated missed calls - always hang up before I can answer. Don't know why they bother. But thanks to the other comments here, if I ever do get to speak with them, I'll give them short shrift.

Same MO as the other comments here. I think they gather our numbers from online competitions and surveys.

They've tried both my husbands and my mobiles repeatedly for the last week and still going. They've even rung my house phone, and the disturbing part is, my home number is silent, so I'd love to know how they got that number, as I don't give that to anyone under any circumstance.

i received the call from yesterday and today 7-30am and 12.45pm

Have been getting at least 1 call a day for a week. No message left.

So far 7 calls no messages left. Will answer next call and see what its about and advise.

I got a call this morning. The guy said he was from 24/7. They knew my name...I asked how they had such information and was told it was retrieved from a national database. Then went on to reassure me her wasn't selling anything and asked if I had seen ads for 'Insurance Line' - in particular their funeral insurance - then tried to get me to confirm my details with him so that a consultant could get in touch with me. I politely told him that I would prefer not to answer any questions - then he talked over me repeating he wasn't selling anything and again tried to get me to confirm my details. After telling him that I wouldn't be in a position to purchase such a product and that there was no point in going any further in the phone he finally let me end the call.
Completely unnecessary.... hate the industry of telemarketers.

Just got a call myself from this number. If I want something I'll call you!! Not the other way around

this number called me saying they were from 24/7 - when i asked who thay were they just stated that they were not selling anything, then proceeded to ask if i had seen the ads for insurance line or something like it... i just hung up - and good ridence i say!!

3 calls in the last day, when I call back, the line is engaged. No messages left.
