Came back from holidays and had 18 missed calls from them on my work landline. When you call back, they direct you to call 1300 303 114 to speak to a customer service representative. I waited for 5 mins then left a message that I'd call the Ombudsman or the police if they keep harrasing me in this way.

they called me for the 10th time today & I answered & she went thru all the rubbish that they want me to try their product (craft items) which I declined & told her to remove my number from their calling list.

I have been rung by this number twice yesterday and once today. Each time I tell them I am not interested and not to call again. Next time I will tell them I'm ringing the police.

This number is from IMP International Masters Publishing or something like that. They send out hobby-type collector cards in binders. I have been getting calls from them for years after I foolishly collected one particular set about 12 years ago. I have repeatedly requested my name be removed from their database, to no avail. Next time I actually answer a call I will be threatening to go to the relevant Ombudsman - whether that works or not I don't know. I had 6 missed calls to my work number from them yesterday.

I have had two missed calls on my mobile now, the first one was at 7:30pm here (which makes it 9pm in Victoria) so I knew it wasn't gunna be a legit business call (& I don't know anyone there). Surely there's something that we can do! I've had all this happen on my landline (before the donotcallregister) and if I start getting more calls, someone's gunna pay!

Yep - I had the same thing - sesame Street - ELMO education package - at no cost to me but the parcel would be delivered in 2 weeks and as it was very big I needed to pay the postage.... asked me for credit/debit card number and I told them that I work for the Perth Fraud Squad. Asked him his address and name and then looked everything up - they work out of India. Its companies like this that give the hardworking legitimate indians a bad name. Told him my senior detective would call them back and follow up - havent heard from them again.

I'm glad I read this first. I didnt recognise the number, so I googled it and found this page. I received two calls from this number, answered the second call, I was informed that they were IMP and I had done a survey for cooking and that were offering free cooking cards, binder and pan for free, all i needed to pay for was p&p. They got my name right, my title and address wrong, they asked me to confirm my current address in victoria, which I know i never gave cus I only just moved here from qld. The address they partially gave me didnt sound remotely close to where I live or previously lived. I told them I wasnt comfortable with giving my details, convo ended and have not heard from them since.
