call but don't leave a messsge

been calling several times over the past few weeks.

These call centers have your number because you have given it to them usually indirectly by applying for a "free" thing or service. Because you have "willingly" disclosed your number you have a "relationship" so the do not call register gives them permission to contact you. The only way to stop it is NOT to fall for the "free" stuff SCAMS or give them the number of a burn phone you are prepared to lose. It is your privacy, keep it PRIVATE!

Called them back on a private number, asked for their ABN. Was given 80163337424. Their Liverpool number is (02) 8104 1014.

keeps calling no answer

I called the number back and told the lady I was doing a survey, will only take a few minutes, and kept interrupting her asking for her bank details and personal information. When she tried to speak I repleated 'it will only take a few minutes'. When I paused to let her comment, I hung up.
Made me feel a bit better.

I just activated a new SIM and new random phone number this week, and already my first unsolicited call!
It is a call Centre Telesales company called 'Contact Network Services' in Melbourne - calling to find out if you have heard of Australian Insurance Company called 'Insurance Line', selling life insurance, income protection etc..

(03) 8400 6005 - Knew my full name and asking questions about Insurance Line - health insurance/life insurance. Sounds like telemarketing. Avoid if you can!

Thanks man, they tried that sh*t on me also. Remember a couple of years ago an Indian kid went missing and turned up murdered? The Indian Ambassador went public to call Australians racist scum then we discovered it was one of his family that was responsible. The Ambassador refused to comment or apologize for HIS racist remarks. Nice people, great country.

Received a call from this number just then..read this post after..blocked the number ..hope they give it a rest...Bugger Off..ALLAN CHOO...caller ID name...

I answered their call and they hung up. After reading these previous msg's I will ignore this number
