Same as the rest - recorded message about tax fraud. Rang our business number. Total BS.

second call from this number today about tax avoidance etc, what a scam. I am really sick of all these calls

I just got a call from this number, robot voice about tax evasion someone must do something about these calls. Its getting ridiculous

Hi guys, yeah. I got this message today too. The same speel about my account been marked delinquent.
Ignore them. They're full of crap!

Have had this message about 6 times now. don't bother to answer goes straight to message bank.
Would appreciate someone stopping it though.

Is a scam for sure, love to meet these people to firstly tell them there not human, then punch them right between the eyes.

Just received the same scam message- terrible for anyone who might take this call as the real thing.

Just had a phone call from this number saying what its an automated call about tax and they have a warrant for my arrest I am sick of all these scam calls I get

full of rubbish working for the ATO
asked me to buy itunes to pay the ato

Bloody hell how dumb do these scammers think we are ! Ten calls from them in two days blocked their number so hopefully it stops ..

Scamming - phone doesn't even ring just goes straight to voicemail and says that your going to be arrested for tax evasion. Which is funny because they don't do warrants for your arrest in Australia

Definitely a scam, automated message saying there would be a warrant out for my arrest for tax avoidance. Completely untrue and definitely not going to bother to call back. The real ATO would never leave a message like that due to privacy laws, they would need to make sure they are speaking to the correct person before being able to even say what they are calling about.

2nd time I've had this scam on my mobile - Tax avoidance, warrant for arrest etc.....
Report it to your phone provider - they will track/record the number over a period of 7 days and send warning letters and also provide you will Sequence number to report to Police.

This number left an automated message saying
...filing, and we regret to inform that her account has been marked delinquent on account of tax avoidance. Out letters sent to your registered address have also returned unsigned and undelivered resulting into a partitioned note to be filed against he name including a warrant for her arrest. Now before the case is sent for execution and you receive a note for court, please contact our hotline (03) 8375 8473.

Also recieved a call today from that number saying it was the ATO and unpaid tax etc.......

Received an automated message, of a similar type noted by DEB on 9 Feb. Just ignored the message, did not return call, will pass number to AFP.
