Same issue, calls, no-one speaks, just office noise in background. If you call back an American-accented female recorded announcement states the number is not in service.

Missed one call yesterday, answered today and a recorded American female voice said "goodbye" and the line disconnected.
I phoned the number and a recorded American female voice said the number was not in service.

Tried ringing the 1300 number but they just hand up on you. Parasites.

They call almost daily, though after saying hello six times and no one answers, I hang up. This is so frustrating

I've been getting calls from these people at least twice a day over the past two weeks. Finally decided to answer and it was a lady from a company called 'Price Cutters' (I had never heard of them before). She was asking about my electricity bill and I'm assuming she wanted to help "lower my electrity bill costs". I told her I didn't own a home and she was quick to want to end the conversation but I managed to ask her a few questions.

1. How did she get my number?
She said from a database.

2. Which database?
She couldn't answer me. She used a lot of "uh's" in her response.

3. Is there a way to remove my number from receiving calls?
She said that she would remove my number, no problem.

Let's see if it actually works. These calls drive me up the wall and I'm sure do the same to all of you.

Scammers, calling saying they are calling to discuss current electricity bill. I don't own a home....pretty dodgy

I started to get these calls when I was looking for a new gas & electricity company through energy watch. They obviously sell the phone numbers of people that use their service will never use any company like this again

This number is always calling me, very harassing. Trying to get me to sign up for something. Telemarketer won't give up no matter how many times I say I'm not interested. Bordering legal harassment. May consider pressing charges.

These people have started calling me every week and hanging up. I've been calling thm back and they start telling me about some lottery, so I just keep them on the line telling them what animals say.... Moo cows say mooooooo, puppy dogs say woof woof woof, etc. It keeps me amused. :)

By any ethical measure this is a scam. Have reported to scamwatch.gov.au

These c*nts call me all the time. Stay tuned....I will find the bastards in Australia and I'm going to have a very direct conversation with them.

I get three phone calls a day from them asking to speak to Kirsty when I say there is no kristy they are quick to say "oh well as I'm talking to you" I hang up at this point. Numbers have now been blocked lets hope it stays that way
