Received VM in American accent
I'm sorry, that is not a valid extension, please try again.
Same S#*t! - Different day.
Another number to block!

Optus, Telstra and other companies obviously don't want our business when continuing to allow this crap.
I think we should all vote with our feet.

Caller: Company wanting to intall free stuff

Guy rang and said he was from the company that had installed my free power consumption device that wifi connects to my mobile phone (Powerpal). He then said they are now installing free exhaust fan covers to stop air escaping when they are noe in use. I agreed and he said someone will be confirming the appointment b/w 12-3pm. No-one showed up by 3:40 so I tried to ring them back but it just kept ringing out. So I can't contact them to find out what's happening and/or to cancel. [When I had free showerhead replacements, the same thing happened. The guy so over 60 minutes late from the latest time they gave}.
I feel like telling them to forget if they ever arrive. I'll see just how late they are before deciding!

Caller: Shower head replacement offer

"Just a short call, we will be in your area tomorrow to install....................."

Advised the caller, "no you won't, and by the sound of your accent it is probably a scam". Hung up. Guess the accent and you win a prize.

Rang the number back "sorry, that is not a valid extension".

Guy rang saying they would be in my area the following day and they wanted to install free exhaust fan covers. I told him the last time I agreed to do this no-one showed up. Although he said it wasn't anything to do with him, I think this was the same guy (the original call was like 6 months earlier). He said his staff member would definitely show up and on time. He wanted to come in the morning but he agreed that someone would show up b/w 3 & 5 pm. Guess what? No-one ever did show up or called to inform me. I will never agree to do this again.
By the way, I have had PowerPal, new LED lights and shower heads replacements so thought exhaust fan covers would be just as easy to have done. WRONG!

Caller: Scammer maybe

Seems this mob visit a local Shopping Centre and while they are there for a week they manage to get hold of surrounding landline numbers seems
quite a coincidence is just one thought but it has to be a Scam looking at Robs comment on 11 January. Never get through to us with Call Guardian only registers a failed number blocked call.

Keep getting calls from national and international numbers when half of the cities these numbers are called from I've never even heard of let alone know someone from there. I tried calling back but these numbers aren't connected

Funny how they manage to use delisted numbers to call you and you cannot call
them back as the number is no longer connected, about time some of these so
called IT experts or System Engineers out an end to it. I have call Telstra Call
Guardian and you can block all these sods, you just list who can call you with
this phone others the phone does not ring just lists these creeps you don't have
to be with Telstra to have this Call Guardian and at less than $100 it's so good.

Usual annoying calls.
We have number recognition, so if it's not in our phones contact list we do not answer & wait for a voicemail but like any of these calls no messages are left.
We've even on "Don't call me" system which doesn't seem to block these type of calls.
