I am with Dodo and can't wait to get out of the contracts because of the sheer number of telemarketer calls I get. I repeatedly tell them that I don't want calls, I've changed my settings in my account and STILL getting the calls! Argh! Avoid Dodo like the plague!

I was a 3 mobile customer all these years and now when i upgraded by mobile I was forced to switch to Vodafone, the very moment i was on the vodafone network since yesterday I've already had more than 6 calls from DODO in less than 24 hours. thankfully I have the block call feature on my phone so now i blocked their number but I'm sure they will call from a different number. but my question is did vodafone give my number to them??

Actually the deal they're offering i.e. Unlimited ADSL2 plus a phone line is pretty good at $59.95 a month but they started with the hard sell when I wouldn't sign up right then, saying it was only available until midnight that night. I told him Not interested, so now they going to harass me with this bullsh*t phone number.

I got the same number left on my phone so I rang, a recorded message asked that I dial in my number so that they could direct me to the particular call centre slave who rang. So it's DODO is it ? Just yesterday I told them to piss off. They had a deal for unlimited internet access plus a landline advertised on the web so I gave them my details as I wanted to speak to someone to find out more. A few days later (yesterday) I get some guy ringing from a call centre who took my details and wanted to sign me up right there and then. I told him I didn't want to sign up immediately because I'd just paid for a month's access with my present ISP. He starts with the high pressure crap claiming that the deal was only available until midnight,. Yeah,..right of course it is,..so I told him I wasn't interested,..to forget about it. I guess they rang back to offer another you beaut deal that was only available for the next 60 minutes WANKERS !

I knew it had to be telemarketers of some sort as I don't know any people interstate that would ring my homephone. I'm not even with Dodo and never would be. Glad this site exists!

They keep calling every frigging day!!!!

Dodo are my Internet provider, and I have an emergency mobile with them, but my account has always been paid on time, they have no reason to call.

You want to sell me something? Or is it called "upgrade my current services"? Send me an email.

Morons can't even pronounce my name right.

the only thing to do is ask them to stop calling you again,

And the only reason they call a few times a day/week is because they're on an automated dialler which means they number is loaded on the system to be called x times a day until they get a sale and/or until the person being called asks to be removed from their list.

When you pick up and no one is on the line, it's because the sales rep are on another call. I know it's annoying but if you manage to get someone on the line they're legally obliged to take you off their dialing system within 48h if you request it.

Here's a suggestion:
When someone calls you from this number (Dodo), just ask them to hang on for a moment (for whatever reason - you think of something that suits you).. and then just simply leave them hanging there!
If they've paid the call cost (probably re-routed and originating from overseas) it won't cost you anything.
I know it may sound a bit rude to some, but sometimes we need to fight fire with fire!

I have never been a customer of Dodo (and never would) I have never contacted the company for any reason. I had a missed call this morning. I called back because it was an 03 number and I live in Melbourne. So I called back. It wanted me to put in my mobile number and the date of which I missed the call. It then said due to systems being down my call cannot be taken then the call was disconnected. Curiousity got to the better of me and decided to google the number. Now I found out it was a scam. Great I am now going to have a lot of fun with them.
