Caller: Saryar I'm sure this is a scam. My mother took the call. They said I had an outstanding account with a company I haven't dealt with for well over 20 years. I called back and was on hold. The recorded message did not give a company name and said an "agent" would take the call if I stayed on the line. The first time I was hung up on after holding for a few minutes. The second time, after being on hold for a few minutes, the call was transferred and I got the message bank for an 02 area code number.

The recorded message did not say a company name and said an "agent" would take my call. The first time I was cut off after being on hold for a minute or so. The second time I was transferred to another number and got a message bank for an 02 number. This is obviously a scam.

Claimed to be from ACTEW power company. Called back, on hold, no company ID on hold message. They hung up on me before answering. I suspect a scam call as I have not had an account with ACTEW in my name for over 20 years.
