scam of some sort call and hang up on answering

Blocked this called, he knew my first name. Sounded surprised when I answered, tried to promote free hot water upgrades from the government. Did not sound like a offical caller more like a scammer, hung up, when said no, number blocked, now I will expect about another 50 calls from other numbers trying to scam. Zbecause I answered.

Spam call - no message and disconnected when i called back

Caller pretending to be from the NBN. I said "hello scammer" and they hung up on me.

Same experience as others. Just assumed it was a Solar Panel scammer based on the 7032 prefix

Called to confirm I have solar panels, well yes I do. After a short conversation asked what my power bill cost, I said last month was $52 which is absolutely true but he said several times that was impossible. I never had a chance to ask was he calling me a liar, he hung up. Next time I get caught on a solar panel call I will not disclose that I have solar panels and mention that it is none of their business anyway then hang up.

Pregnant pause while computer connected to call centre. Answered with "hello call centre person" - hung up. Probably skytech Austalia. get their lists from Australin Data services. Number is spoof. Add to the list.

Answered, just silence... after about 10 seconds I hung up and blocked the number - presumably another scam

Caller: Indian man using a false name

Indian man calling from nbn (says his name is John Wilson). I told him I knew he is a scammer and I'm reporting his number (03) 7032 3753 to Police, scamwatch and the ACCC. Click, he was gone!

A caller with a very thick Indian accent claimed to be from the federal government regarding the solar rebate program. I said that I didn't believe him and not to call my number again. He hung up pronto.

Let is go to answering machine because I dint recognise the number and they hung up. Bet it was a Scammer like everyone said.

Person with an Indian accent, claiming to have a English name started talking about solar panels. My response was short and swift. I hung up and blocked the number.
