robot call out, goes to scammer on connection. Use a variety of number combinations on last 4 digits.

Rude scammers.. block and avoid them....

Very rude caller who then called me back on numerous different numbers. Said they were from Be Smart Capital(?) and I had given them my details by clicking on an ad.

Yes, the description by the earlier reported user is correct. Whoever the caller is one of a real badass, rude and very intimidating. Save your breath no point even talk to these scum bags.

He said he wanted to speak with me and when I asked about what he responded “your husband is my lover. Goodbye”.
Extremely strange.

Wish these losers would go away like everyone else here. Get a week or two break and then they call 4-5 times over a few days from several suffixes and occasionally answering them and telling them to get lost does nothing. Not sure exactly what they think they are going to achieve trying me over and over. I just block each version as it comes in.

Caller: Robert

I got this guy Robert (he did say his last name). I explained for telemarketers and scammers like yourself my name is on the do not call register and its illegal to call me.

I then enquired how he got my details, stated I applied and I know that I haven't applied giving my personal number out, I asked again where he got my number, he then accused me of being rude and hung up

I missed this (and some others with similar digits because I was busy earlier; 8700, 8707, 8710, 8711), and after a few seconds delay I got the rudest call centre scammer you could imagine.
I answered 8708 though this arvo, and she admitted it was the same mob trying earlier. It went like this.
I asked what organisation they worked for, and the response was "the one you applied to". They didn't have the right name, or email, just my number (clearly called by a robot, as indicated by the few seconds delay). The conversation degenerated slowly from there, finishing with threatening to continue harassing me with more calls.
