Caller: Scammer?

Electronic message saying I’ll be debited for a purchase of $299.99, and to press 1 if I didn’t make the purchase. Similar phone number has complaints so I’m guessing they’ve moved to this one now.

Ebay purchase message

Caller: "eBay"

Called this number back and they claimed to be eBay. When I noted that I had a call, they just happened to know it was due to an "accidental" purchase. When I stated that I think this is a scam they hung up on me.

There has been an order placed for $299 and I needed to call them to cancel it. It was an automated message

Did not answer this number. WQas left a robotic voicemail message (NOT by a real-time person).
Blabbing on about "did you make this order?"
If not dial this number nowr (and it goes on with a long series of numbers asking then to push number 1... does not clearly identify WHO is calling, WHAT was ordered...NADA. It's a bullsh*t ruse to steal something. Don't answer this phone number as you could lose your ID or money I guess...?

Left computer generated message about an order (not sure what it from where) totalling $299.99 which would be deducted from my account and to press 1 if I didn’t place the order.... Sounded very suss so I won’t action.

Scam recorded message from "ebay" regarding purchase requirement to pay bill - SCAM

Just got a call from this number and it went to Voicemail, on listening it said I would have $99.99 taken from my account if I didn't return the call by dialling 1 (from Voicemail) obvious scam.
