Caller: Supposedly eBay I received an unidentified computerised voice message on my mobile number from this number originating from Hobart, advising me to return the call immediately by pressing 1 to "cancel an order" if I did not make one. I dialled the number from my landline and the recipient answered "This is eBay- how may I help you" or something similar. When I told her I had been sent an unsolicited voice message, she asked me for my name. When I asked how did I know she was really an eBay operator, she said "Because I answered your call saying this was eBay". I stated that I was not prepared to give any further information and hung up. I had not placed any orders on eBay recently.

Hang up when you answer call, using a number used in various ebay, telstra scam calls from the past.

SCAM- they left a message, voice sounded robotic. They said that $399.99 would be debited from my account and if I didn’t place that order, to call them on the above number. I blocked it.

Caller: 'ebay' Scammer Automated scam call pretending to be from ebay about 'charges to account'. Recorded voice is a young-ish Australian female speaking in an urgent tone. Beware of the msg bank missed phone recorded message left by these scammers - very long recorded message with long gaps between several blasts of total BS - easy to get distracted and think the latter parts of the message are a new message.

Caller: Introduced themselves as eBay Care Unsolicited call; talks about an eBay purchase and funds being charged, and instructing to press 1 if there is concern about the transaction/charge.
When I called the number (using a different phone), a lady that has an Indian accent answered.
