Called with a recording saying it was eBay. Followed by an obvious scammer on the other end.

Claimed to be eBay same as others state about $299 purchase.
I don't even use eBay. Lol
I've made two online purchases in passed Week so I know one of them must be passing on phone number

This came up as a Hobart number. Didn't answer but message to text said same as previous: amount would be taken from account. Press 1 if you want to cancel. Quote claim for refunding.

Robotic call from Tasmania stating the call was from Amazon on a renewal payment. SCAM CALL!! Please don't respond and block the number.

2 phone calls from this number in 1 day claiming the exact same thing. Funny because I don’t have an Amazon prime account at all

Voice message from a machine said 'if you didn't place this order press 1' otherwise $299.99 will be debited from your account. Or phone 61 8720 01045 - too many numbers. I phoned the calling number and 'Amazon' answered, a machine. Of course, orders can't be processed without card numbers and Amazon doesn't have my card numbers. No amounts were on my cards. I haven't used Amazon for years. They wouldn't call to confirm an order anyway.
I don't know if this was SPAM or a nuisance call.
