Overseas automated message left on my home phone saying that they were from CDPP on behalf of the ATO and that I had some sort of note against my name and could have an arrest warrant against my name and to ring this number to sort it out. Scam!

definitely a scam....beware!!!

I was called today with this same message. It seems to be a follow on from the same type of call from another number - last time (mid-June) it was "Robbie" and the number was a NSW number (don't have a record of it now). That number, from the comments on here under th number, was apparently listed on the ATO website as a scam.

We received the same message on our home landline. Obviously a scam but could be scary for some people.

Received an Automated voice recording (muffled British accent) message left on my home phone saying that they were from CDPP on behalf of the ATO and that you (undisclosed person) have some undisclosed permission or file against you with an undisclosed amount with a letter which appears unsigned and that there is an Arrest Warrant against you and to ring this number to sort it out. Must be a SCAM!

Yes we had the same weird voice mail message as well tonight. Trying to calm my partner down who is in a flap over it

I received that called twice today. I am in Perth. I am sure its a scam.
