I would not recommend ANYONE to stop by here as their service was disgraceful and dishonest – we definitely will not be coming back here again.

My partner and I drove from Mildura to Bendigo and stopped for a coffee at the Mobil Roadhouse in Charlton on the outskirts of the town. We ordered one soy flat white and one skinny flat white – especially emphasising the soy due to my lactose intolerance. The man who appeared to be the owner took our order and our money. When my partner picked up the coffee she asked the woman who made it to confirm one was soy. The woman replied “yes, that is”. Upon having the first sip I discovered that it was not soy and we took it back. The owner then denied we even asked for soy, and said that they don’t even have soy! Yet they happily took our money. When informing them that we did in fact ask for soy, he repeated his statements. He did not want to make another coffee without milk, nor refund us or offer an apology. He started becoming increasingly aggressive as we informed him again that I cannot drink this coffee and repeated his statement of not having soy milk. Unfortunately we became alarmed by his aggressive manner, and did not pursue the matter further, choosing instead to leave the watery coffee behind.
